It is hard to believe that February is here. January just flew by. This is going to be a great month. On Thursday, February 15th, at the Mission Valley Hilton, we have Dr. Andrew Mick talking on Retinal Vein Occlusion. He is a great speaker on an interesting topic


Wow, it feels so good to be back as the president of SDCOS. SDCOS is one of the strongest societies in the state and is one of the largest of the state associations.


After screening most of the students at Monarch School in late October, the society coordinated with the VSP Mobile Clinic personnel to provide vision exams for those referred for two days in early November.


In 2020, the pandemic lockdown and changes to my practice model made me feel empty and lost.  I asked myself, “Is this is how I’m going to finish the last part of my career?”


Seventy members of the San Diego County Optometric Society had a great evening sipping “Old Fashion Sweet Tea” and listening to Dr. Rachelle Lin from Marshall B. Ketchum University.


As we approach the last quarter of 2023, your board is actively making plans for next year.

April 16th we had our 5 hr CE at the Del Mar Hilton. It was a homerun event!! Speakers Jay Binkowitz
and Justin Kwan, OD, FAAO hit it out of the park


April 16th is SDCOS’s 5-hour CE event. We’re putting the fun back into learning in San Diego! Dress in your favorite sports team gear and learn about “The Urgency to Treat Myopia, Not Just Correct It” by Dr. Justin Kwan
