The San Diego County Optometric Society works with the COA to represent the interests of all optometrists in California and the AOA on national issues.

A Key Person is an SDCOS member volunteer, an OD or student, who educates lawmakers about issues important to optometry. This grassroots work is incredibly powerful, as Legislators really do listen to their constituents. If you are willing to meet with or communicate with your local San Diego legislators by letter, fax, email or phone, please let us know!
